WhistleStop Productions creates
the Ultimate Canadian Chopper Challenge!

TORONTO (April 21, 2005) - Who really is Canada's best custom motorcycle builder?
WhistleStop Productions announced today the launch of the first annual Canadian Chopper Challenge - a Canadian motorcycle buildoff that features four of the country's top custom bike builders scrambling to build their ultimate masterpiece in just twelve short weeks! Added to the time frame pressure, the builders also face the daunting task of stick handling their restricted building budgets...and, for a hat trick, because Canada's home to the best game in the world, the builders have agreed to work in a hockey theme. The Canadian Chopper Challenge begins May 01 and will wrap up twelve weeks later on August 01. The completed custom machines will then be brought to the TSN studios in Toronto for the final score: a panel of five judges that will include TSN personalities and NHL players will make the ultimate call.

Participating in this first annual event are four of this country's top recognized custom builders. Representing the "old school" of chopper building will be internationally respected motorcycle customizer, Bob McKay. Working out of his century old storefront studio in the village of Shallow Lake, Ontario, McKay has been turning out show winning creations for over 35 years. Many of his pieces have appeared in over 100 custom bike publications around the world.

An interesting twist to the line up is the inclusion of Ryan Robinson. The 43 year old has been building radical customs for over a decade out of his modern facility in Guelph, Ontario and at one time, apprenticed under Bob McKay. This piece of chopper history will certainly add to the drama of the challenge when Robinson takes on his former teacher.

Shaking things up will be Tom Langton of Rumble Customs Inc. Based in Eastern Ontario in the village of Delta, this 38-year-old definitely zigs when everyone zags! Although he has only been building customs for about a decade, Langton already has established himself as both a serious designer and builder throughout the USA and Europe. In 2001, he became the first Canadian to win "America's Most Beautiful Motorcycle". In 2003 he built a bike for Camel Cigarettes which became one of the most photographed motorcycles in the world, featured in some 23 magazines in 18 countries. He was also the first Canadian ever to be named "Builder of the Year" by Easyriders Magazine. He recently just completed a wild custom for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco and is currently on tour with Skoal's "Adults Only Tour".

Representing the future of the sport will be 25 year old Luc Leblanc. Working out of his spartan shop in Moncton, New Brunswi... Leblanc made waves two years ago when the custom bike press noticed his unique "Jagged Edged" radical motorcycle at a Toronto custom bike show. Several magazine features later, Luc has established himself as the "new kid on the block", but how will he handle the pressure when faced with Canada's best competition?

"The Canadian Chopper Challenge is the ultimate for custom motorcycle enthusiasts and offers a truly authentic experience for participants and viewers," said David Hatch, Executive Producer, WhistleStop Productions. "This competition will give some of Canada's top motorcycle customizers the rare opportunity to feel the pressure of competing in front of a national televised audience. The interesting thing here is that these guys are not competeting for any cash or prizes. This is all about the challenge this competition offers. They are definately doing this strictly for the bragging rights."

- TSN - The Sports Network will televise the Canadian Chopper Challenge nationally, airing in four one-hour and two-half hour prime time broadcasts during November 2005. Toyota Truck will present the entire Canadian Chopper Challenge series this fall along with associate partners Yamaha Canada and Parts Canada.
- Produced in association with WhistleStop Productions Inc. - TSN's coverage of the event will be created in High Definition format television. TSN will also televise encore broadcasts of all six episodes in Western prime time.
